ProtocolEngine is operated by Stefan Ojanen ("we", "us"). This policy applies to paid Premium subscriptions purchased through ProtocolEngine.
This policy covers paid Premium subscriptions (monthly and annual plans) purchased through our website. Free features, open research content, and third-party purchases made through affiliate links are not covered by this policy.
You may cancel your Premium subscription at any time from your account settings or via the Stripe customer portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You retain full access to Premium features until the period ends.
Cancellation does not entitle you to a refund for the current billing period. No partial refunds or credits are issued for unused time within a paid period.
We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee on your first payment. If you are not satisfied with Premium for any reason within 30 days of your first charge, contact hello@protocolengine.io for a full refund, no questions asked.

Under the EU Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU), you have a 14-day right of withdrawal from digital service contracts. Our 30-day money-back guarantee exceeds this statutory minimum. If you have not yet accessed any Premium features, you may exercise your right of withdrawal within 14 days for a full refund.
Approved refunds are processed to your original payment method via Stripe. Processing typically takes 5-10 business days depending on your bank or card issuer.
